Caught the moon at the end of the eclipse... didnt even know it was happening !. Hard to capture with the 40D and 100-400mm lens @ 400mm with wind blowing... but came out alright.Related content

even harder with 5D and 70-200, 200 is way too short for FF. captured very end of it also, because most of it happened before Moon appeared in the sky

I hear ya mate!, I want to get hold of an extender as well for tthis lens for this kinda thing!.
Still, would love a 5D II

it was kinda easier with 400D as the photos appeared bigger (200mmx1.6 crop factor). made some nice shots of the Moon with it too. but 5DmkII performes great under high ISO, even at 2000 although for the Moon you don't need it even with the eclypse thing.
