Bravely Second was a fabulous game and I highly recommend going out to buy it, its for the Nintendo 3DS.
Recommend playing Bravely Default first as Bravely Second is a direct sequel and it improves on a lot of things over Bravely Default that would make playing Bravely Default harder to play if you play Bravely Second first. Plus you are connected to the returning towns and characters play Bravely Default first, but overall you can play Bravely Second without play Bravely Default, I just recommend playing the games in order.

For an improvement comparison I did Airy from Bravely Default awhile back [Click Around Here Somewhere] , and really the reason I wanted to do Anne as well from Bravely Second (I also like Anne's design a lot more than Airy, despite Anne playing a very minour role compared to Airy in the first game).

I don't play mobile games, Bravely Second is my favourite game, right now I am playing Bravely Second again while also going through Octopath Traveler. I really want Bravely Third!!!

BD:FE takes place 8000 years in the future in some sense it is Bravely third since somehow or another yew is in the game

Bravely Second is like 2 years after Bravely Default - Tiz and Edea are playable characters. The mobile game is just a spinoff title where its whole purpose is to make money by reusing all of the assets already made, minimal costs, maximum profits!
We don't know the 3rd actual game in the series will be called and also depends on the decision of making a continuation off of Bravely Second or start a new journey using the same gameplay and world.
The team could also be working on a whole trilogy kind of deal at the same time, so that they can release the others the following year having minimal gaps between the sequels.

I've played a lot of Square Enix games I know they don't do anything just for cash grabbing, they have a reason they like to intertwin their games even mobile ones adding more to the lore. It might not make sense now but don't dismiss it just because it is a mobile game.

They said their mobile games is for money, Nintendo said the same as well which owns the IP. But then they use the money to fund the real games which is where the passion is.

I don't believe BD:FE should be considered the same as Super Mario Run (which you actually have to pay for to progress further in the game unlike BD:FE), I honestly would not be surprised if any of the cast actually has relevance in the next Bravely Default game. there was a collab for the mobile with octopath traveler back in july with the mobile too. www.siliconera.com/2018/07/10/…

Super Mario Run is a free demo and then pay to play game, same as classic model for purchasing games and then you own the entire thing. Also Super Mario Run was just made for marketing, it was never meant for mass profits, Fire Emblem Heroes makes the money.

Definitely looks as cute as Anne does herself in-game. The reflection effect is very well done!
