My oni kensei girl's reference sheet, done by the awesome - also my first commission from them! Hopefully the first of many more to come Patience is probably the closest thing I have to a villain character at the moment.

Abilities:
  ■  Martial Arts Master — Patience's lifelong training as a monk has resulted in her perfecting various forms of martial arts, making her a formidable hand-to-hand combatant.
  ■  Chi Master — Patience can read other people's chi, and can use it against them. Namely, she can pinpoint certain parts of someone's body in order to elicit certain effects, most often in the form of a stun. She can also sense their emotions.
  ■  Enhanced Agility and Reflexes — Her chi mastery, mixed with her oni bloodline, has granted her enhanced agility and dexterity, enabling her to jump long distances, run along walls or water, or to dash at high speed for a short amount of time. This also makes her hard to hit.
  ■  Enhanced Durability — Patience can take more of a beating than the average human, again, due to her oni blood and chi mastery.
  ■  Deflect Projectiles — Patience's enhanced reflexes enables her to deflect most projectiles with ease.
  ■  Stillness of Mind — Patience can end any charm, illusion, or other forms of mind control affecting her if she focuses her chi.
  ■ Purity of Body — Mastering her own chi flowing through her body, Patience is immune to poison and disease.
  ■  Timeless Body — Due to mastering her chi in such a way that only those from her temple know of, Patience is immune to ageing.

Weaknesses:
  ■  Not Invincible — Although Patience has enhanced durability, she can still be fatally injured if enough force or damage is applied. Aside from immunity to poison, disease, and ageing, Patience is vulnerable to most things humans are.
  ■ Focus — In order to benefit from the effects of her chi mastery, Patience needs to have the time each day to focus her chi, and continually keep it focused throughout the day. If she cannot focus her chi, she does not gain the benefits.
  ■  Bloodthirsty — Very similar to a shark, once there's blood in the water, Patience can go into a sort of trance in which she will kill every enemy in sight until there are none left.

Patience is usually the quiet, reserved type who is capable of being terrible. She is the 'doer' rather than the 'talker', however if something were to go against her ideals, she would not hesitate to speak her mind about it. In fact, Patience would die for her beliefs, if it came to it. Those beliefs and ideals are that of independent thought and choice; the freedom to choose; and the need to accept and adapt to change. If any of those ideals were to become threatened, Patience will not hold back her wrath against those who oppose her. At times, it can seem like she is a simmering flicker of fire that could burst into a rage of flames at any moment.

  ■  Born as a guardian of a temple, but was exiled due to taking up a sword (forbidden)
  ■  Spent time as a prostitute, until she murdered a client in self-defence
