Description
At one time, many years back, my script included the android having schizophrenic hallucinations, talking to a younger version of itself etc.

This is a great painting. It's an eerie image with the dark colors and the little girl looking back from the mirror. The main character is a young woman who has just taken a shower although the mirror doesn't seem to be fogged up. I like that she remembers modesty when confronting the apparition.
The artist says that the little girl is a younger version of the young woman. She could be a ghost or demon for that matter. The bathroom looks old. Maybe this is the place where the young woman grew up. Her expression is great. She looks stunned and afraid rather than terrified. Maybe she recognizes herself.
The little girl looks creepy with her weird eyes sort of like Wednesday Addams. She doesn't look threatening but she shouldn't be there by all the normal rules. If I was the young woman I'd throw on some clothes and run for it.

A version of this without the panties would make even more epic than it already is.Β Seems there are a few people in the comments section here that agree with me.Β If one of those existed, I would absolutely use it as a desktheme this month of spooktober.

I saw a version of this once where the girl did not have any panties on.Β It was random, but I liked it, despite hating art theft/alteration.Β I did a tineye reverse image search and I came up with 270 places online where this picture exists, stolen from you.Β That's really sad.

I saw a panty less version of this on the internet once and figured it was art theft.Β Can't find it anymore, but I do wish I could see that vesion again.Β Liked it because it was like she got out the shower and sees a ghost in the mirror.Β Scary and erotic at the same time.

This is really well done... This painting really scares me, but kept luring me to return for more. I can really relate to the creepy atmosphere created in the painting. Again....REALLY WELL DONE!!!!!!

The soft light and somber palette really set the strange, mysterious mood perfectly. Β And the realistic details (wall texture, hair, light and shadow) pair with the figure in the mirror in a truly unsettling way. Β Great work.

Artistically this is wonderful, spooky, and haunting. The color is just right with a cold tint that really sets the mood. If I had to pick it apart, because to be a critique one must find something to be critical of, and since your art is beyond critique I must go after the concept, because it's completely subjective, and hard to defend without venturing into pure personal opinion. So my ridiculous critique, of this fine work, might be the placement of the ghost. HA! For some reason, my first reaction to this image was, that it would be scarier if the ghost were behind her, as the distance between her and the sink was not great enough to fit the person she was seeing in the mirror, Β and she would know instinctively that there was nothing really in front of her, but if it was behind her she couldn't just dismiss it, and would have to turn around to see if it was there. I may be just projecting my long held fear of ghosts standing behind me. It's a wonderful image. Bravo!

I don I have the talent to critique this work.Β I think it's fantastic and far better then I could do in the medium.Β If I were to be picky, given the description I think the little girls should have looked similar to the woman, more real -Β less ghostly.
I think this is an amazing piece! Bravo~
