Just some sketches and stuff I like to keep in mind when I'm drawing Toothless. I've spend way too much time studying his anatomy. This isn't really a tutorial, but feel free to reference. I'm thinking about doing an anatomy guide on him haha.Related content

Nah, I do the same thing. I've counted the points on his wings and tail fins, and I'm such a nit-pick for detail that I want to get all the scales on his face figured out, but I know that would be extremely time consuming and tedious and perhaps frustrating, so I just do the general pattern/layout. But I'm sure some day it'll get to me, and I'll get it all laid out.. cuz I'm stubborn like that. Anyway, I digress!

Yeah, i just pay attention to the pattern and layout rather than the individual scale placement. Mostly because no one really cares that much XD And there are other things about the drawing to worry about. But maybe ill be doing a super detailed picture one day and wanna figure it out.
