After a passionate night with Alex, Gabby got ready for duty. A new uniform had been dropped off earlier for her and after showering, Gabby slid into it. She found it as comfortable as the last uniform, but this one had the gold trim of command section with the braid of a full lieutenant. Gabby had managed to familiarize herself with the rank structure and insignia when she checked the computer last night while Alex slept.

Gabby had researched herself in this universe. Lt.jg. Gabriella Gutierrez is assigned to the weapons/research section of security services. Her career has been remarkable so far because of her ferociocity. The Gabriella in this universe is a ruthless killer, known and feared for her temper but admired for her work ethic, loyalty, and intelligence. She is personally brave and has killed 34 opponents in hand to hand combat. Gabby is to be promoted to full lieutenant and appointed commander of the captain's bodyguard unit. This appointment is part of the reward she is receiving for her part in stopping a hostile takeover of the ship, the attempted murder of all senior officers and staff. She will also be decorated for that and for building the devise that uncovered the conspiracy.

Gabby didn't have enough time to research anything else because Alex had stirred in bed. Now as she stands in front of the mirror looking at herself in the new uniform a rush of admiration flooded her psyche. As Gabby gazes at the fit and cut of her new uniform, pride seemed to fill her heart. She began to feel the part, tough, uninhibited, ruthless.

Behind her, Gabby notices Alex staring admiringly at her. That made Gabby's heart swell with pride.

"Damn baby.." Alex said in a low and seductive tone. "You look so fucking good!" She growled as she bit her lip.

"I'm proud of you Gabriella.. I really am... and I love you dearly!"

Alex's words smote Gabby like a lightning bolt. Her heart thundered in her chest as Gabby slid her gold hilt dagger into its sheath. She fights hard against the urge to rip off her uniform, dive back into bed, and take Alex in her lustful arms..

"Mmmmmmmm... your words make me want to have you right now!" Gabby said, barely masking her desire for Alex. "I love you so much Alex"

Alex smiled widely with great happiness shining in her hazel eyes. "I don't know what's come over you, but I love it!" She sat up a little more in the bed.

"You seem so different, so much more passionate. You haven't made love to me like last night in a long time."

Gabby smiles slightly as she attempts to hide the true amount of feeling she has for Alex.

"Maybe I've wized up and now appreciate you, like I should."

Alex smirked playfully, feigning disbelief, but the love in her eyes betrayed her.

"Well lieutenant, I like that " Alex began "But don't let that gold braid go to your head. There are alot of females who will want to get their claws into my woman. I don't want to have to cut a bitch!"

Gabby shook her head slightly, reassuringly. "Don't worry about that Babe." She said warmly "You're the only woman I've ever wanted."

Alex squealed with delight at the sound of Gabby's words. "I love you so damn much Gabriella!" She stood up in bed, naked as the dawn, her brown arms open and a wide smile on her face.

Gabby stepped over to the bed taking Alex in her arms, pressing her lips to Alex's. Passion, fiery love, filled Gabby's kisses as her emotions swept over Alex like a tidal wave. Gabby's arousal and passion tightens her embrace of the exquisite woman she holds as she covers Alex with hot and heavy kisses. So violently passionate is Gabby's affection that after a few moments Alex swoons in her arms, limp but elated.

"Who are you?" Alex asks incredulously, her words no more than a whisper as her head spins in reaction to Gabby's onslaught.

"I'm the woman who adores you." Gabby answered. Her voice heavy with the strong emotions she felt. "I always have and always will."

Alex smiled again and kissed Gabby's lips. "I think I finally really feel that from you." She said "You seem different, like a stranger... but I love it!

Alex peeled herself from Gabby's fierce embrace, kissing her cheek.

"You'd better get going. You can't be late on your first day as the captain's chief bodyguard!"

Gabby shook her head readjusting her uniform as she started for the door.

"You're right! I gotta go. I'll see you later." Gabby said.

"I'll be doing a systems diagnostic on the transporters today sweetheart.. I'll be working late." Alex answered.

Alex playfully smacked Gabby on the behind as the lieutenant headed out of the door.

"Good luck baby." Alex said as the door slid closed.
