drawing for a living sounds hard. I love to draw cause I usually do my own thing. How does it roll when you have to limit yourself and create according to peoples orders?

It's not hard at all actually. A lot more discipline involved and having a good head for managing both time and money are key.
If you truly love to draw or have a passion for art it's not really about what you're working on or for who. At least that's how it works for me.
Obviously everyone wants to do their own thing but if you're into comics or the process of creation be it in film, animation, or just art, then there is no such thing as "limiting" yourself.
I find that people who approach art in that mindset usually end up being divas or artsy folks who give themselves way more credit than they deserve. Either that or they sell themselves really short and miss out on alot of good learning experiences and opportunities to grow and expand their artistic horizons due to their closed off line of thought.
