Really wicked cool find of a treasure from Gargoyles, Charles.Β Great sense of presence to the leader of the Manhattan Clan.Β Some of my Gargoyles OCs do have the 5-taloned fingers as well as the normal 4-claws on the hands.Β Also wanted to let you know that I signed up for 2 art classes at the Norton Simon Museum of Art in Pasadena on Friday evenings, along with drawing a pretty good pencil sketch of Raquel and Kreider after not drawing anything for 5 whole weeks!!!!!!!!! !

Just wanted to drop by to say, "HI!"Β We're getting a bit of cooler summer weather which means more time for me to work on my artwork before I begin the Fall 2014 semester. Β Did you get my DA Note about a few of the Story Ideas I came up with for theΒ primitive-like gargoyles who were once humans before Thailog transmuted (transformed) them into gargoyles?Β I'd greatly appreciate any help from you on what to call this extremely resourceful group of gargoyles.Β Β

Heh. I have more pictures of Marvel's hero teams, mainly X-Men and Avengers. Maybe I will photograph them next. I am currently looking for another Rogue poster to go with my extra Gambit one.

Its not a goofup, this statue has a long history of development, almost a full decade. The original sculpt (there's pics on the net somewhere) was much more accurate to the animation model, proper fingers, less armor etc. During the course of the deal Bowen lost the Disney license (This was originally going to be part of a set of Disney hero statues done in a realistic style, I believe Hercules and Aladdin were also planned but never sculpted). Due to losing the license Bowen planned to make the statue anyway, but had to change the sculpt to be legally far enough from Goliath for that not to be a problem. Later he gained the license, and released it as Goliath proper, but the sculpt was never retooled to be more accurate again. Obscure info on an obscure piece, but it still came out gorgeous!

Good luck! It is heavy, the wing span it humongous, and I am almost always in my room.
