Moving on from that, I'd like to confirm that I have seen the Netflix adaptation of Avatar. Now before I watched it, I've already heard reviews about this series and they all had the same critique. That being the look is perfect, the combat is perfect, but the characters are off. I was a little confused. Surly that can't be true. Well, two episodes later, and I could tell something was off. And it's been a while since I've seen the original. That's telling ya something. And today, I finally got the courage to stomach the rest of the series, and oh god. They were right. (Sigh) It's amazing isn't it? The never ending trend of live action adaptation trying to be better than the animated original (with a few exceptions), it's always gonna fail. And as long as the narrative of animation is for kids continue, this is no light at the end of the tunnel. Don't get me wrong, it's better than the 2010 movie, but not by a long shot. I'll go more in depth when I post my reaction comic.
