Ok slight exaggeration, but it's pretty good. I have just seen (at least what they have to offer) all of season one of Sonic Prime, and like I said, it's awesome! Now I'm no stranger to Man of Action studios. So when I heard they were making a 3D Sonic animated series, I had high hopes. Ok so the plot is that Sonic basically fucks up the multiverse (or the "shatterverse". It's what they're calling it) and he has to fix it and find his friends. So far there are three locations : Dystopian future, Jungle, and Pirates. One of the things about Man of Actions is that they are known for, not only for their mature storytellings, but their kickass fight scenes. Not to mention their sense of humor. So it was like bread and butter. The voice acting is actually my favorite. Sometimes they will try to imitate the previous voice actors, but other than that they bring their own takes on the characters. Now when I first saw the trailer, there was something that was saying "this is probably the closest we're gonna get to a Sonic Satam reboot." And I still stand by what I said. The different iterations of Sonic friends are GLORIOUS! I love these interactions Sonic has with them! Now are there any negatives about it? Well, I was having too much fun being blown away by the animation, and generally anything elsa from Man of Action. (Yeah I'm a little bias about Man of Action. So what?) But I will admit, there are moments where the animation is unfinished. Not to said the animation is bad. Quite the contrary. But I do remember spots in the episodes where the animation looks cheap. Also I totally understand why some people are taking it back by Sonic portrayal in the series. But this is Man of Action we're talking about. They know how to make good teenage characters. Which by the way Sonic in this series reminds me so much of Ben 10. And there's Shadow who reminds me of Kevin 11. A more mentoring Kevin 11.
