Ben, as leader, feels super responsible for the death of any Bounty Hunter. When Andra died, it really hit him hard, and it still rattles him a little. Then even though Hercules was a dick and hated Ben, Ben was still the one to stand by and watch as Hercules was killed. And Ben did nothing. Then, of course, Lenore. Along with Andra, one of his best friends, who disappeared with no evidence of her existence except quite a bit of blood. (She's still alive but. He doesn't know that.)

i did this because I figured there hasn't been nearly enough pain with these cats lately.
