people piss me off when they say that Photography isnt an art...idk, anyone else feel the same?

Photography isnt an art and it will never be. Why?
* Its about machine and additional lenses- your money-
* Its about your editing- your money-
*Its about the places you can travel- your money-
*Its about models you can use- your money and sometimes free -
*It is very very very little about the moment you can catch- they mostly edit this or use more money over it, if you dont know it just google original places-
*Its very less about concept when it comes to clicking, rest of the concept just for business.
*Art is only can be done for passion and love, it requires large amount of time, alot of personal skills, ideas, feelings, imagination,creativity and joy. its not about clicking an expensive machine to clowns at fancy places then editing everything-
*Anything done in purposes of getting fame and profit isnt truly an art and never gonna be.-this goes for everything-
*Its a hobby that talentless and talented people may both consider as an art.
Just search a beautiful lake in da and search it in google maps, watch how they capture Β beautiful wild life shots and videos. Its gonna be suprising.

Interesting how you say photography isn't art, when you've posted photography yourself. Some of which isn't even yours.

Are you implying that if it involves computers or "machines," it's not art? Better take these two down then. Because by your logic, any work that's digital isn't art, right?
Your logic would also include animation. And I did not spend 5 years in cartoon hell, suffer multiple breakdowns, stay up working until dawn for several weeks straight, drawing 1500+ pages until my fingers went numb, and earned a BFA degree...Only to be told by some hypocritical thieving art-snob that what I'm doing for a hobby AND a living isn't art.
Just because it costs money, uses technology, and we get paid to do it β it's not art. And if you don't own it, then you can't post it.

And if you want to improve then you will begin considering other ways to express your ideas on paper by using different media which costs MONEY too.
If your issue is seriously that photography costs "money" then what is your response to digital artists? painters?
All forms of art can be expressed with or without money or supplies, but please do not come to my page and tell me that something I believe is not so.

It depends. If thought is put into it it is. If it's just people taking pictures of themselves in the mirror with their cellphone I don't really consider that art. But then again it just depends.

thats so stupid! i think photography can sometimes be more beautiful than any painting becuase it captures the exact beauty of the moment, not the beauty you see in your eyes so eveyone knows and appreciated the beauty about them more often. (i wish i could be a good photographer) my dad's brillant, he'll actually stoip the car if were on a road trip if he sees a cool flower or something he wants to take a picture of, he's not a pro or anything but he's still brillant, my entire house is full of pictures you would think came with the frames :3 makes me proud XD
