There are no pads on the bottoms of the feet because the paws are facing toward the cat, and therefore the bottoms of the feet aren't visible?

Then why are the bottoms of the toes (or digits, whatever you like to call them) so rounded on the bottom, I would think that it would show a side shot of the pads.

Have you ever sen the paw of a cat? I have mine, right here, and I can tell you that from that angle you would not see any of the pads of her feet. I just checked.

Well then I'm sorry, I happen not to be a cat expert such as yourself. I am human, and as a human I make mistakes, I'm sorry I'm not an expert in cat paw anatomy, and I happened to wonder (that's the thing humans do when they look at art) if the roundness of the bottom of each digit would show the pad. I humbly apologize, my feline master, for my mistake.

It's scary, but cute. People who could care for such a creature are truly kind of heart because even I, who loves cats, would have difficulty taking care of a creature with being terrified by it's unique deformity.
