Who is this rather frightened-looking blue girl, and what is that light?I've been experimenting with proportions and real life art work... I've mostly been sketching away at anything I can reach, I decided to also play with colored pencils. You can judge how well I did. Critique is wanted, but have in mind I'm not very experienced with non digital art and I know I have a lot to improve on in both fields. I just wanted to get something up here.

It's good to experiment with your own styles when it comes to colored pencils, there's like a million ways to use them. I see something different from the usual kind of coming up in this. As for critique, the bush thing on the left looks kind of awkward, I think its the direction of the pencil strokes. Also, the piece of brown before the water is a little hard to identify. But I think this is really neat looking, kind of abstract and wierd, and I like wierd. I think you have cool ideas

I like the hat and how well you made the stuff the light is showing on lighter... well... if that makes sense... just how the tree and stuff behind the light is lighter. It's pretty. And how you did the dress is coolies. You might want to work on positioning and depth though... couldn't really tell if she was like dancing around or if she was actually standing on something.
