Description

Little Fang walked….he walked and walked...wandering the town. He felt trapped and alone in such a place that was once his home…

His feet ached...and before he knew it, he was at the chant.

He remembered when he first heard it being built…it was a place of hope and sanctuary, but….according to those around him….he was worthy of neither.

He walked into the building, it was cool and quiet, a nice feeling compared to the outside. He walked through the halls and into the main hall.

The stained glass shone and glimmered in the light, the pictures showing the elements and praising Chii’Falla. He stopped infront of a massive one….admiring the colors.

Little Fang wasn’t really religious, he believed in magic and powers and possibly the gods beyond their control and imagination, but what Luxahollow preached….he didn’t really believe it wholly, after all depending on who taught or spoke it, he was monstrous freak…even without a 3rd eye making it worse.

“Ah Little Fang, it is…nice to see you,”

Turning his head, he saw Graw, and sighed, he was not in the mood for him. He didn’t want to hear whatever he had to say. With abit of light magic he looked at Graw and ‘spoke’

‘What do you want?’

“Straight to the point, you could be a little more polite, since I am the one who taught you that magic.” Graw spoke calmly but still a bit grumpily.

Little Fang rolled his eyes, and Graw sighed a bit.

“Look, Little Fang, I...I understand you are going through troubled times since…the plague. But it has been years, it's time to move on, your child would not have wanted this. You need a strong path in life, something stable, that isn’t just playing music hoping for change in return as well.”

If he could...Little Fang would have growled at the old man as his face contorted into a snarl. His mind screamed and he wanted to hiss out, but instead his eyes flashed a bright yellow light and used telepathy to speak again as he glared at Graw in his eyes.

‘HOW DARE YOU! YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO HOLD HIM AS HE DIED GRAW!! AS HE COUGHED AND WHEEZED HIS LAST BREATH!! AS EVERYONE AROUND YOU BLAMED YOU OR LEFT YOU TO ROT CAUSE YOU WERE ‘MARKED’ BY THE BEAST!!’

Little fang did not mention how since then the music that was once strong in his heart had left him, how every tune had turned sour and filled with despair. He glared and his fur poofed up at the old man.

“You are correct.”

Was all Graw said to Fang, tears began to bubble around Little Fang’s eyes. Fang’s breath began to hitch and he wheezed, Graw for once looked softly and abit sorrowfully at him.

“You are at a crossroad Little Fang, if you do not make a choice, you will suffer and become truly something you hate. Now, you may stay here if needed, but for now, think about that, and what your children would want.”

Graw then took his leave...leaving the sobbing quad alone to make his choice.
