I never really watched the 1st generation, so can somepony explain if the eyes are crystalish because that's just how the style for Fizzy is, or if it's like the G1 Crystal Ponies. Right now, I'm as blind as a bat with why her (and some other ponies too) eyes are like that.

They're called Twinkle Eye ponies. The comic version explains that Applejack got caught by a wizard who forced ponies to mine and the other ponies told her to get out while she could still see, because they'd been there so long, they'd gone blind. Applejack promised to get help, tripped and accidentally smashed into the wizard's crystal throne which sent him falling to the ends of the earth and the magic crystal shards lodged themselves in the ponies eyes and let them see again.
The toys have rhinestone eyes.
The cartoon never gave them an explanation and the cartoons were there to sell the toys.

The Jewel-eyed pony thing was in part just a marketing ploy by Hasbro, back in the day. You can think of them as G1's equivalent of the crystal ponies.
But there's also a charming little story behind it, explaining the origin of the Jewel-eyed ponies, in the form of a children's comic strip.

The author of the fanfiction "A Mighty Demon Slayer Grooms Some Ponies", for which I am creating these character sheets, developed the above comic story into a pretty interesting, and "dark", version that I found very enjoyable.

No, those are just child-friendly non-alcoholic carbonated beverages on her flank.
Her special talent is making bubbles. I think of her as kind of the "Derpy" of G1.

I hate to critique something that's far beyond anything I could possibly do. But if I were to say something...the light blue hair on top makes it look a little awkward. It looks more like a bandana than hair. Maybe a single stripe there could break it up some. But that's so nitpicky I wouldn't even normally mention it. It's on my fav's.

Ah! There it is. And like I said, it was really, reeeeally nitpicky. Wouldn't even have mentioned it except you were looking for critique. It's in my fav's definetly. I saw the collection poster you made of G1 ponies with this as a part of it. Great job on all of it.
