could i ask what your ideas/motivations were for picking each of the familys cards?

Magician, Fool, Temperance, Heirophant, Empress.
Basically I wanted to stick to the human figures in the deck since they would all have the same background template. Tower/World/Sun/etc. would involve me drawing more landscapes to get the point across and making the cards look too different from one another, which I wanted to avoid.
Magician and Fool were pretty obvious. Temperance was just because I immediately got the image of Beth with her surgeon's head mirror in place of the "sign of the sun" and pouring wine instead water, and also it is linked to "accommodating" people. In some interpretations, the Heirophant is linked to weakness, conformity, and marriages. Also "his appearance can show that you are dealing with a force that is not innovative, free-spirited or individual but is instead fixated on the βway we have always done things around hereβ."Β source
I made Summer the Empress because femininity, "daughter of heaven and earth," blah blah blah. She could've been Judgment or something but I didn't like that imagery quite as much.
