Cuz even though I'm finally working on a comic, gotta draw those pones. Colourpop has a line based on gen1 MLP, and I've always loved redesigning old pones, so here you go. I think the most fun part are their manes, as up until gen 4 they all pretty much had the same hairstyle. Tweaking their personalities is a blast as well.

Speaking of which, here we have, first off, Cotton Candy (ultra pink pone): Despite being the resident doctor, is often known as the bane of the town due to an unfortunate addiction to consuming flowers. Often is chased (or forcefully taken out of) her friend's gardens, to the point where they staged an intervention after Moondancer ended up freezing her alive. Truly is a kind pony, though a bit tweaky.
Moondancer: A mass of snoot wrapped up in a delicate unicorn package. Isn't afraid to use her magic to get what she wants. Is prone to using said magic against another ponies over trivial matters.
Heart Throb: A sweet lil pone, with an extreme adoration of romance novels. Is the ultimate knowledge holder of romance tropes, and ultimately sees life as one big ol' shoujo manga. She's had a crush on pretty much every pony she's met, crushes that fade in and out pretty quickly due to her somewhat warped viewpoint.
Wind Whistler: A self proclaimed 'egghead', probs Twilight's great grandmother or something. Extremely booksmart, knows more complicated words than you do, but is extremely awkward around other pones. She has trouble reading social cues, and understanding the emotions that another ponies are currently experiencing. Still a nice lil thing.
Parasol: Voted most likely to go Team Aqua on the world. She typically isn't too happy unless she's standing in some type of water (which isn't too great for the others, as constantly wet pony probably doesn't smell that great) and has shown to have some strange rainbow summoning power, something that the unicorns of the area are completely baffled about. Moondancer likes to joke that she's some sort of Cthulhu pone.
