I just read the first book. IT. WAS. MAGNIFICENT.
Like, I wasn't expecting to be very impressed, because Tui wrote a lot of Seekers, which I dislike, but...wow. Just wow. I adore the characters. They have an depth and individuality. And the evil queens, especially Scarlet, are so funny! Haha, I love her. And I really like Peril, too.
I actually almost sorta kinda maybe perhaps might imagine Starflight sometimes with teeny little scholarly spectacles. FORGIVE MEEE

You nailed Starflight's color! It's really hard to make him that shade of ultra-dark purple without making him too light or just black!
