When reading my words, fair Katie did say,
That she should be writ there in some small way.
But what can be said in verse of this girl?
Her face rarely shines, her hair little curls
Her sweatshirt is grey, with some dark blue text
She's mostly the same, we know what comes next.
She has no great genius and seems rather normal,
But when you look closely...no one is normal.
A beautiful figure hides under her clothes,
She's not just some air-head in frills and bows!
Her smile is brilliant, to see it is joyous,
To know her good graces is, in truth, glorious!
Her flute-fingers fly, and she makes the notes soar;
All who listen end begging for more!
She's shy, and gentle, and kind, and sweet;
Any man would be honored to walk her down the street.
Her heart holds the beauty that's greatest in her,
And it is these people that folks should revere!
Long have I seen the wonders within her,
But not 'till she asked did I write them here.
