It's love.  It's not.  It's something else.
But it's not Lust.  Who could have guessed?
This wave of feelings, strange and new--
Not one of them's to do with you.
You sit and wonder what's the why,
But less you'll know, the more you try.
Obvious, yea, and stupid, too,
But still, there's nothing you can do.
This pouring out of deed and word
Just goes to show that I'm absurd.
No nightmares have joined my day
But still, the Fear has joined mind's fray.
Why still still?  Why sit so still?
Why not make change and force the will?
The will is gone, it has now fled--
So now, no worth's left in the head.
The heart and soul cannot stand up;
They'll fight until he drinks the cup
Of man that bears a poison drop
That makes this circling cycle stop.
But now I ramble, the point is lost,
But what was the point?
