Description
As I stand here in the nightThe Earth is all my world
Yet, still, I dream of other worlds
What other nights are like
I think about a life on Titan
And death on Alpha Centauri
I wonder at passions adrift
Between the distant stars.
But I never leave.
As I listen in the night
The music is my world
Yet, still, I dream of other worlds
What other sounds are like
I think about the chirp of crickets
And hooting calls of owls
I wonder at silence adrift
Between the peaceful tunes
But I never leave.
As I lay there in the night
You were my whole world
Yet, still, I thought of other worlds
What other girls were like
I thought about the face of Jane
And eyes of Rose and Alex
I wondered at loneliness adrift
Between the beauteous ones.
And when you could not handle that,
I left.

Love blows your mind away, while loneliness would stab you and make you think.
The worlds out there, the new perspectives. Nice composition

Hmmm...okay, yeah, I can see that. The more I think of her, though, the more I think that it wasn't really love. But it was more like a soft dream that I enjoyed for a night than completely falling for someone.
And thank you, friend.
