Description
Back before World of Warcraft, i was playing WC3: Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne when i came up with a character, a Night Elf soldier who'd been left for dead during a battle in Lordaeron, was taken in by some priests and nursed back to health, and then took to fighting her way across the eastern continent. Her name's Atarane (Ah-Tah-RAH-nay). She did eventually filter her way into WoW once it came out.Man, i love the storylines from those games. Very involved, very engrossing. To me, at least.
This pic was done in colored pencil on... err... computer paper (*ducks the rotten produce*) .... a couple years ago, while i was studying abroad in a convent in Italy. And playing Warcraft. Yes, i probably should have been doing more important things while there, but i still needed my fixes now and then.
Again, it's a couple years old, so it's not the best. But i liked her costume design a lot.

I dont play WoW because I have a child and a wife, and my addictive personality wouldnt let me quit the game, but it still looks awesome as does this piece. Digging the stance and the coin belt she's got. Cool work ^_^

Hurray Night Elves! ^_^ Ah, love the outfit, it panders so well to my love of belts and dangly things... And yes, I absolutely agree on the wonderful Blizzard storylines ^^
