Description
The colossal planet of Kkassakk is a dense, mineral rich world with a gravity in excess of 300 times that of the planet Earth. It is on this world where the race known as the Burdenite evolved. Short but wide and weighing on average 3500 pounds, the rock like Burdenite are an exceptionally hardy species that took longer than most to take to the stars simply out of hurdles their planets gravity field caused to space flight.

Once off of their world though, the Burdenites made an amazing discovery. Millions of years of evolving on a super high gravity world had given them a muscle structure that, once removed from it gave them incredible abilities. Capable of lifting many times over their own weight and leaping forward at speeds so great and with such acceleration as to become like large, stone bullets, many of them went forth to form what would become the Kkassakk Mercenary Corps.

Generations of military work has turned the vast majority of off world Burdenites into grizzled veterans of combat who work as much for the challenge as for their payment in the form of Rocks and Gems. These are not collected as riches, but as the Burdenites food source. Their large, diamond like teeth crushing the rocks between them as they feed off the minerals within.

Whilst their powerful legs and arms afford them great strength in battle, they also realized they needed ranged firepower and the Burdenite Mercs of today are armed with sturdy, solid, simplistically built firearms.

Since the appearance of the Mekkari within their area of the galaxy, the Kkassakk Mercenary Corps have joined the Galactic Coalition to defend their world as well as the worlds of their allies, as long as they get paid in the best Rocks.
