This was drawn shortly after the tegaki. I was still on a Quickman high (I still am) and wanted to do a quick CG in SAI, since I noticed that I... really haven't finished one for months. So, here you go. For some reason the shading kind of makes his chest look like his back, but... yeah, quick CG. This started my -leave computer on for weeks to draw in SAI- habit that dad really doesn't like too much. >__>I'm usually afraid of doing shinies, so be happy that I tried. I really like how they came out, actually.
... Yep, pretty sure Quick is my favourite. Sorry, Clash. ; ^ ;

I think it's the way his head and neck is positioned... It looks more like he's turning head from a backward position rather than a forward one... I can't tell you how to fix that... All well. Me still likes Quickie!

I think part of what makes his chest look like his back is not the shinies or shading, which are fine, but his head position-- it's got a "looking over my shoulder" tilt to it. Also, the joint of the neck and body.
I guess what I'm saying is, the head and body look very good, separately; it's the connection between them that looks a bit odd.
He's definitely on of the cooler robot masters.

Yeah, I know XDD since I drew it quick I wasn't being so picky, so I didn't realize until I started colouring it. Oh well, doesn't ruin it, more just something to learn from.

Yet another wonderful drawing!
I'll admit, the pose is a little awkward, but it's still fantastically drawn.
And the CG is particularly the strong point of this picture.
I like the shine effects given to the metallic pieces of his armor.
It really makes it more realistic, in the sense of metal naturally shining in the light.
Although not showing quite as much, the subtle shading was also done nicely.
After all, drawings tend to look rather plain without proper shading...
And sorry, I honestly have no clue who Quickman is. When I tried to search him on Wikipedia though, it directed me toward Megaman, so I'm assuming he's a character in that series or something?

Really? He's one of the Robot Masters from the original Rockman (Mega Man) series on NES. He's even from the most popular of those, 2.

I know the feeling. I've tried doing the whole shiny effect thing on my art a couple of times... I think shading looks a lot cooler than highlights and sparkly bubbles, for some reason. xD

I've seriously got to play the original Mega Man games. The only one I've ever played (and absolutely loved) was X for the SNES.

HIghlights should really be subtle unless there's some shiny light source like a laser sword or something.
X was awesome. Rockman 2 is definitely the best of the old ones.
