Description
My first real custom CSS for dA!
I started to make a whole bunch of them at the end of december, but my photoshop is a tad corrupted, so it goes with blood sweat and tears T_T
Anyway, A Final Fantasy VII CSS ^^ This one was actually the last one I started and the first one to be finished... >.<
Hope people will like it!
Click "Download" for the files. If you're new with journal CSS: the CSS.txt has to go into your journal css box, the Journal.txt into your journal box. You can edit the text and tags to your own comforts.
Of course you can edit the banner with your own name

ok, I understand.
I manage to use the layers and complete the piece over a transparant background, however, I don't know how to set it to go over my gradient journal. I think I need a css command. Here is the lines
.journalbox .journaltop {
background-color:transparant !important;
text-align:right !important;
color:#ffffff !important;
font-size:10px !important;
background-image:url([link] );
background-position:top center;
background-repeat:no-repeat;
height:321px;
}
I think I need to set my gradient journal as the background color, but I dont really know...

Hmmm... I'm not exactly a css expert.. You could try to set your gradient journal as the background-image of .journalbox {

yeah, it`s like journals vary between a computer screen and another. When I look at home it fits perfect, but when I'm at a friend, there a part of header cut, there's 2 cards large and not 3, title of boxes don't show...maybe its a firefox vs explorer thing or just how large is the screen

Yea, these things always depend on browsers and resolutions... My own css always work best in firefox, in resolution of 1024x768. Yours looks perfectly good to me ^^

I've been having a little problem with the css here. it seems to be causing a connection between my links on the header and the main body text. Is it compatable with the current dA css?

I have a banner link to my personal website in the header (along with a few others) the link for the banner is somehow connecting to the text in the main journal. the best wat is to show you I guess.

Ah I think the problem's in the code. The code of a hyperlink ends with , this should be placed right after the address of the picture. I think you forgot to place the somewhere. Double check does wonders ^^
Now we're at it, the header of your journal still says "Paulien's Journal". I suggest you open the title.psd I included in photoshop and edit the text layer so it says your own name
