Yes, with the exception of Asterix and Obelix, all the Gauls have different names in each translation since their names are all puns and/or related to their profession.Β
I wonder what Caesar did this time to get Cleopatra mad. Call her people decadent again, even though she managed to get him a palace build in 3 months?

About the names: yes I know that it's just hard to find out, how their names are in different countries, when you only know your countries version
Caesar was just being Caesar again I guess

In Canadian and British English he's Vitalstatistix.
In American English he's called Atonovbrix.
Fittingly so both Idefix and Dogmatix mean much the same thing;Β to be pig-headedly opinionated!

Majestix isn't a bad name for him but in my books he's called Vitalstatistix!

It's depending on which country you're from
In Germany his name is Majestix, and I find it very fitting.
Getafix is Miraculix and Dogmatix is Idefix.
It is pretty confusing xD!

About #113:
In most english-speaking countries, his name is Vitalstatistix and his wife, Impedimenta.
(His original french name is Abraracourcix, by the way.)

Funny enough, I've recently had a wild boar dish recently when my mother, sister, and I celebrated the former's birthday at a bistro!

Yeah in Germany.
But in the US his name is Dogmatix.
Could you now also tell something about the picture?
