This is the largest piece I did this past term. The photo doesn't show off the cell structure that is in the background (it looks like lace) but I hope you can see it. It was super textured and fun to pet. Anyway this was about 5 by 5 1/2 feet?
I successfully creeped out a lot of the people in the studio with the fungus growing from the skin. This is the painting, out of the three, that I am most content with.

One of three pieces. We were to create about 72 square feet of painting inspired by a quote. When I find my quote again I will add it here, but i based my pieces on the relationship between science and nature. Done with acrylic on masonite.
