Continuing with my speed challenge series, I'm staying in a new comfort zone and expanding the series of images from Star Wars Rebels. This time, the challenge was to do more than one character in the piece so we have 'Master And Apprentice', Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger.
Done with wax pencils and built up in layers, utilising my pressure application and layering techniques, the picture consists of 26 colours.
Ezra's eyes were done with white, delft blue, dark sepia, black and warm grey 1.
His eyebrows were done with black.
His hair was done with violet, delft blue, brown ochre (light), warm grey 2, warm grey 5, warm grey 6, burnt umber and burnt siena.
His mouth was done with dark sepia, warm grey 1 and warm grey 5.
His skin was done with white, cream, medium flesh, dark flesh, warm grey 4 and warm grey 6.
Ezra's clothes were done with white, light chrome, lemon, dark cadmium yellow, light orange, brown ochre (light) and black .
Kanan's eye was done with white, Hooker's green, dark sepia and warm grey 2.
His eyebrows were done with burnt umber
His hair was done with dark sepia, raw umber, warm grey 2, burnt umber and burnt siena.
His goatee beard was done with dark sepia and burnt siena.
His skin was done with white, cream, medium flesh, light flesh, dark sepia and warm grey 5.
Kanan's clothes were done with raw umber, siena natur ochre, cinnamon, black and warm grey 5.
The armour was done with white, grey green, raw umber, brown ochre (dark), brown ochre (light), siena natur ochre, cinnamon, black, warm grey 2, warm grey 5, warm grey 6 and burnt siena.
Finally, the background was done with white, warm grey 1 and cinnamon.

Completion time: 4 hours 58 minutes
