We've had rain the last couple of days and it suddenly occurred to me that I don't actually remember the last time I saw rain!

It must be something in the atmosphere.  We rarely get rain either but a couple of whopper storms dumped 1/2 of our yearly rainfall all within a few hours in the Phoenix area!  On the news they showed cars submerged up to the middle of the windshields....on the major highway!  One area was so flooded it had to be shut down.  Try having only one main artery in and out and having it shut down!  And yet Florida had had no hurricanes so far this year!  Go figure    All this global warming IS going to have far reaching effects!

They truly are!  I have signed several petitions for the near wolf eradication objective in Idaho.  I don't get what they are thinking!  All for the benefit of private sector cattle grazing!  Such a travesty

By the time they've finished we will have no wild wolves left in the world,
apart from the ones in sanctuaries or zoos. I know they have just reintroduced them
back into Yellow Stone National Park and there are a few left in Canada but I'm not 
sure about anywhere else.....It's a shame really, considering the animals of this world 
are just as entitled to it as we are. Pity we can't share.

When we stop and think of the already countless species of animals and plants humans have caused to go extinct....shameful *sigh*  The grey and Mexican red wolf are not far behind....
