Assault CruiserReginald Hector Class
Conceived as an Excelsior Class technology derived version of the Continent Class Assault Transport.
Although principally designed to engage in planetary ground force deployment operations, the installation ofΒ five Mark XXV photon torpedo launchers (three forward, two aft), two Mk V Komati photon torpedo launchers (forward) as well as JAKA-2 phaser banks grant the Reginald Hector Class the ability to go toe-to-toe with Klingon or Romulan vessels should the need arise.
