THIS HAS BEEN RESUBMITTED AND UPDATED! NEW VERSION CAN BE FOUND HERE!My current project is to make every form of the sailor senshi as well as the characters that matter and items.
It's very fun, I'm making all the outfits and things by hand ^^
The image is zoomed in so you can see the details put into the sprites ^^
It's gotten to the point where all I have left are the Negaverse Generals, Black Moon Clan, Death Busters, Dead Moon Circus, Sailor Animates, S Arc Movie, SuperS Arc Movie, and Dead Senshi Silhouettes.

Just wondering if you're still working on these or not, and if you're still sending out non-watermarked versions, even the old ones, for personal use. Trying to find something to work on while I'm stuck at home...

Is it possible to get non-watermarked versions of your Sailor Moon sprite sets to use for a personal cross stitch project? It will not be for sale nor will I be making a pattern for sale out of it. You have one of the most complete SM sprite sets I have found but the (understandably placed) watermark makes it hard to use for cross stitching.

Could you clarify on how you want to use them? Like draw them, make copies or just take the whole sprites and use those? I'd like to be certain of what you want to do before I decide.

Use the sprite in the place of the family tree, much like you did in those two family trees.Β I plan on making all the sprites for my OCs entirely by hand, just need the canon royal forms for everyone (minus Usagi).Β I would rather do it in sprite than with just Gen8 headshots like I have done in the past.

Now I'm just nit-picking but: Sailor Saturn, I thought, had a white crystal on her front bow, and then in her super form it turned into a purple heart? I just want to make sure your sprites are as detailed as you like to keep them!

I haven't found a good way to mimic the crystal yet, which is why it's lacking one. It'll get added eventually. I'll be updating soon with the Asteroid/Amazon Quartet and alts of the Three Lights

You Starlights are amazing. Did you use other sprite references to make them, or are they all created free-hand?

I used screenshots of the anime (and sometimes the manga or art books) as references for outfits and color but the sprites themselves are all done free-hand with no other sprites as reference

I have blanks (body bases I just finished that aren't dressed), Sol (fanterm for normal seifuku), and Super. I haven't finished up Eternal yet but I'll make sure to send those along also

Well, I continue to stand in awe of your work. These are still amazing.

I stayed up most of the night, working on them. I have to update it again, I have Sailor Galaxia and Chaotic Galaxia done.
I believe I've finished all senshi except Sailor V and the Sailor Quartet whom I will be doing in a little bit. After that I begin work on the villains and when I finish them up I'll work on items and maybe some minor characters.
You know, if you look very closely, you can see that I've added details most other sprites wouldn't add.
When I started on Saturn, I redid her boots three times just because of the laces. And Kakyuu's hat took nearly twenty minutes alone because I couldn't find a good peach color (certain pixels are colored in peach to represent the olive blossoms on it). Last night I added the headsets to the Starlights.
See, most of the time on the sprite is actually spent redoing things over because I try to go for as accurate as it is possible for me to get with my skill level. If something doesn't please me, I erase what I hate or all of it and try again.

I did notice that the stairlights had their headsets. You put in a great amount of detail considering the size of the sprites. But I also think that the time you take and the details you add are what set your sprites apart from say... mine, which are just simple recolors.

Saturn just doesn't look like Saturn if her boots are laced, Sailor Moon isn't Sailor Moon without proper odango shields (mine have a white border around them), see what I mean?
It's sometimes the tiniest details that complete a sprite and make it beautiful ^^

I know what you mean. I've been thinking about giving my Super Sailor Moon sprite an update so that her skirt is correct (blue, yellow, white) instead of just white like they have it in SMAS. But I tried the odango shields and my sprite is just too small!

It's actually easy. You do a red 4px square and make the top left corner a brighter red than the rest then you add an off white to the edges (you don't connect the white into a perfect square, you leave the corners unfilled)
Then you edit it to fit as needed ^^
You can do the same with Chibiusa's odango shields and the heart shields of Cosmos and ChibiChibi are done in a similar way but made to fit heart shaped odangos

I used the zoom function on my Mac to look at the detail even better, and I see that you used the shield outline to overlap the hair outline in places, which is what I struggled with. Perhaps I'll have to go back and see how that looks on my Usagi sprites.
Of course, I really dont want to do what you did without your permission. I dont want to steal your hard work and experimentation! I respect you too much and whatnot. :-D
