Description Just a little something I whipped up for you guys c: This is how I do multi-color gradients nowadays since I no longer have photoshop and I dislike the plugin for paint.net.

Usually I don't blur it, especially if I'm doing something like designs and things to let you guys see the pattern to it but if you blur it, it runs together quite nicely.

Since my font may be a little hard to read, here are the instructions written out in a more easier-to-read manner c:

1) I start with a basic shape, usually the interior of a clothing outline. I then fill it with the darkest color. Here, I used red.

2) Next, I fill in with the next color in line, Orange. Keep a large portion of red on top and add a band of red a little ways down.

3) Repeat step 2 for as many layers as you want to make. I did four so I repeated it twice with yellow then green.

4) Now you blur it all together so that it runs smoothly. I use Gaussian Blur set at 25, it gives it just the right amount of blending. Too little and it doesn't look smooth, too much and the colors run together too much and don't look good at all.

5) With this method, you can create just about any kind of Gradient pattern as long as you have enough colors for it!

You can also do this method in reverse to make a light to dark gradient instead. Just play around with it c:

If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask c:

The "Gaussian Blur" is in Paint.Net, right?

I've been experimenting with doing something similar, but it was a lot more work. I had several small gradients that I was stringing together. This will work so much better!
