A print I did for JFest 2013 a few months back;
Madoka and Homura.
I love their paradoxical relationship. The decision for Homura to change her whole being for Madoka is just so heart wrenching and mind boggling -- because I can't stop asking myself if her purpose is ruined, when a 'strager' that Madoka does not understand saves her, is that still 'saving'?
Madoka's transformation is ultimately Homura's realization of this, in my opinion. The ending provides Homura with the ability to esbalish an equilibrium with herself, and who she wishes to be.
