TA-DA!! I finished it at last!! This was a Commission for Silken-Winds! ^.^ I hope that she'll like it. SHe requested a Family shot of Casper and the Ghostly Trio so woo! Here it is!This one was most definetely a challange as I've NEVER had to cross a Ghost over a Ghost before. o_o;

In my fan-fics, ghosts can not be photographed on regular film. This led to a hikarious scene in one of my early stories where Casper poses with some hoo-mans . In one the prince's arm,is draped over Casper's shoulders. It looks like his arm isΒ held out at an unnatural angle. As the prince was in a recent plane crash, it was to be theorized that he was having lingering trouble with his arm.Β

I don't see why you have trouble with layers though? I ALWAYS use them they make it so much easier.....and I find works take LESS time when done with layers?
The group pose is excellent (although my only thought is that fatso should be FATTER lol!)

xD But yeah, I do try layers but it always takes me like 2-3 Days to finish a picture that way on a normal easy basis. To do it without only takes me about 5 hours to 6 hours at tops so..

If you use Photoshop for colouring maybe you would like to try to use some Gaussian Blur in the external part of the ghastly bodies, that gives a cool efect. Is not a critic of course, is just a trick that maybe you would like to try.

Gaussian Blur? *blinks* What's that...? I mean, I already do use a Blur of some sort, but, my biggest thing is that I don't use layers. So if It's something that has to be done with layers, it may or may not work for me.

ok, I'll explain you.
The gaussian Blur is a type of blur, it works with or without layers, its a little more agrresive blur.
You will find it into the filters Blur>Gaussian Blur
Maybe you wuold find that your work is a little more easy and fast if you use layers, it is quite simple! Just give the order in the layer menu "new layer" (the icon has yhe shape of a little paper) and volilΓ , there will be a new layer where you can work. You can give the transparence to the ghost simply getting the opacity of the layer a little down.
But if you do not have used this short cuts before I must say that your work is really amazing.

maybe you are right.I do not know if layers make the workslower because I have always used them. What only I can assure is that I spent hours and hours colouring one single image... T.T
