So... this is it. The end. Yesterday evening I read the last ever issue of Transformers: Lost Light, so yeah, I guess it´s over now...

and I honestly don´t know what to say about it.

When I imagened uploading this picture, I planned on writing an emotional giant wall of text about how much this comic meant to me and how much I´m gonna miss this crazy bunch of lunatics. But now that it´s really happening and I´m sitting here infront of my laptop, trying to write something about this, I have no idea what to say. No words can do it justice anyways.

I just think that this was the best ending that could have ever happened. Because it ended and on one side, it even ended bad. Not in terms of how it was written, but simply what was happening to the crew at the very end. But on the other side, there is still room for hope.

The most important thing for me personally about this ending is, that I´m not ready for it. I´m not ready to leave the Lost Light, because it means so much to me, for example it´s one of the reasons why I passed the Cambridge English Exam at level C1.

And that´s good. It´s good that I´m not ready to say goodbye and leave it all behinde.

Because I don´t have to. In fact, nobody has to. In the "letter" if you can call it that, that James Roberts posted at the end of the issue, he wrote three words, three tiny words at the very end that (I think) changed everything:

Over to you.

Not "over for you", like everything is said and done, go home, the show´s over. No, but "over to you" and I think the meaning of this is, that he "passed on" the story to us, the fans, who will remember everything that happened at that absolutely wonderfuly insane journey. We will allways love this amazing story and we will most certainly never forget it as well as we will carry on and bring it alive every day by even just thinking about it.

Now, it´s on us. And so the journey never ends. It will remain in light forever.

I think everything I have left to say now is: Thank you.

Thank you to all those amazing people who were involved in creating this masterpiece. I´m sure that my life and also the lifes of many other people would be much sadder and darker without this story as it allways lights and will allways light our darkest hour. And also thank you to every fan who has followed the adventure for the past 6 years, because you have been the ones who were allways keeping it alive and going.

Thank you to all of you.

And I think, at the end of the era of MTMTE/LL, I can say: We have achieved something.

As for the picture, I chose the title after hearing the song "Alone Together" by Fall Out Boy, which (for me personally) puts everything MTMTE/LL is perfectly together in one song. You should listen to it. It´s good. It just made me sad:
