Another one of these digital paintings. Nothing special here, I just saw Jekyll & Hyde in Turun kaupunginteatteri yesterday and wanted to do something based on it.Based on this photo with Anna Victoria Eriksson as Lucy and Riku Nieminen in the title role.

Absolutely fantastic - the light, the colors, the poses!...
It looks as if you've depicted something happening on the stage, rather than in the musical... eh, know what I mean.

I know what you mean! Usually, I try to avoid drawing stuff like it's onstage and instead imagine the place it would be happening at in real life. But here, the reference picture was so pretty that I couldn't help myself, even though it has the stage-y vibe...

Beautifully atmospheric! Love the dappled background, and the 'hit by the spotlights' look is awesomely done - even the tiny little reflection on the buckle (or whatever it is) on the Lucy's shoe. ^^,

Yep! I've seen it twice, actually, and I guess I'll be seeing it at least once more: the theatre's just a mile away from my apartment... I'm sure to many you foreigners, Turku with its 180 000 inhabitants doesn't seem like a big city β but it has two theatres that do musicals, so I love living here!
