Alternative title: "Where I'm from, We Call This Canon."There was this cutest little moment in the Finnish version of Wicked: during Popular, just after telling Elphaba she's beautiful, Galinda gives her new best friend a surprise kiss on the cheek. I just had to draw it!
Gelphie fans, feel free to let your screams of joy out. Yes, this is canon now!

Huh, I noticed. One of Elphies outfits just looks so WEIRD. The one in the first picture in the link sent me. The rest is more or less cool though. And what the HELL is up with that giant eyeball? xD

Yeah, they're done some of the outfits pretty differently - and not always so awesomely. I just love Elphaba's dress for the beginning of the second act, for example, but the one for the end of the show I don't quite get...
The giant eyeball is the Finnish version of golden head in which The Wizard first appears. I actually thought it was a pretty creative idea - since we don't know the book or the movie so well in Finland it doesn't matter to us if it was done different in one of them.

I guess the eyeball thing is ok since 'the golden head' wasn't exactly in the original story either.

Yeah, she does - she even gets a line or two, if I remember correctly. This is because in Finland The Wizard of Oz isn't very well known, so they try to give a bit of backstory with showing her.

I've no idea neither, actually.
During Wonderful there were the people bubbles around the Wizard's place and in the end of the song, where they dance with Elphaba in the original, he let the people out of the bubbles and they rolled off the stage. I've no idea what it was supposed to be!

I've liked Wicked for quite some time, yes, and I was so happy when I got to know they were doing it in Finland. And, actually, I've already seen the Finnish version - I went to the premiere and I'm planning seeing it again already!
