The Arfu citizens weren't really hunters.  They killed the raiders and bandits who happened to attack their town.  Even if they wre active hunters, they couldn't ever assault Friendship City.  I think the guard has a point.

I believe it was mentioned that they've also eaten one trader of scavenger or something, also they would give a mark/scar after a pony would get their first kill. Also, as for the matter of attacking Friendship City, lets go through this scenario:

The Enclave comes, destroyes the city. Few manage to escape, our guard among them. Some seek refuge in Arfu or maybe he just got separeted from the main group and just stumbled by them. Lunch.

My main character would stumble upon the guard sometime after Friendship City was destroyed. And by then, he will be a bit impulsive when it comes to such matters. It won't be as much of a "mindrape" as him forcing the guard to live through this scenario I have mentioned in his mind. (BTW, if that somehow encouraged you to read my side-story, don't worry, that's not a spoiler. That point of time is SO far away in the future that by the time I will get there - assuming I will at all - you will long since forgotten about it )

They had a "prophet of the Goddess" down in the basement who was acting pretty crazy and they put down for people's safety.  The traders are the life blood of Arfu: Radigator and. um...other meats in exchange for bullets, guns, random scrap, etc.  Picking off one of them would be generally stupid.
The marks are for a first kill, but nothing says first pony kill.  Littlepip makes that leap after she discovers their secret and starts killing all of them, but many of those could have easily just been Radigator hunters.  We don't know, which is part of the point.

Further, I'm...confused.  How exactly would your character know about both Arfu and this one particular guard's comment regarding the incident?  What sort of power do they have if they can "mind rape" someone with a completely hypothetical scenario inspired by events they know little to nothing about?  Is this supposed to be a hero character?  Because "mind rape" is a pretty terrible thing to do, especially to a pony who was just doing his job.
You know what, this DID encourage me to read your story because this needs a damn good explanation.  What's the name of your story and where can I find it?

Oh no, I was thinking it was a reference to "120 Days of Sodom."  I read through the first chapter, and this does not seem to be the case.  It came with a BIG sigh of relief.
