Here's the final product! XD

There's a long story behind this drawing, but essentially, what I want to portray with this is the mysterious nature of life, experiences and reflections.

This girl is meant to represent beauty, but not perfection (i.e. the scars on her) - a metaphorical take on the idea that behind something, there lies a beautiful imperfection.

We're all rather familiar with the idea of "there's a different face/person/idea/concept behind a mask", but what if that thing behind the mask isn't all that exciting as we expect it to be? A beauty we may be expecting, but she may be scarred and not so perfect. A darkness it may be behind that mask, but what if it wasn't as sinister as it seems?

Behind the idea of "average", "boredom" that is the mask, there may well just be another "average" being/idea. BUT, what makes it so inspirational, perhaps, at the end of the day could be the unique experience and take on life, time, and all other phenomenons.

I believe everyone has a fascinating life - it may come across as boring to some, but that's just 'cos they haven't learnt to appreciate it. so don't underestimate others' experiences out there - you might be in for a surprise!
