Background: Raised in Melbourne Australia Laura had a pretty average life, mostly following her mother around like a little duckling, going through old antique stores and generally getting herself into trouble for the sake of it. She was first introduced to Digimon from her cousin Kassidy, though neither of them really understood the repercussions and mostly just found Chi as an awesome friend. During the disappearances years ago her cousin went missing along others, setting off Laura's passion for investigating journalism, attempting to find out the truth of what was happening and what these creatures are.

While researching Laura accidentally came across a corrupted website, which on further investigation turned out to be the hiding place of a Tinkermon.
