As for star cutiemarks I am unsure, given her race does not acquire cutiemarks she may have a different view of them.

Well I love stars myself anyway. (hence why Dreamstar got the word "star" in his name to begin with, and also why Starwishes has it in hers as well, although that's more to do with how she is Dreamstar's twin, yada yada yaaa~ xD)

She may well have a fascination if she has never seen one before... finding a cutie mark that has her favourite thing? That might be an interesting development!

I can also see that you really have been thinking outside the box with your character, the small bristly hair on the body and ears, the long tail with a tassel on the end, the hair style with those colors. All these things make her jumps out of the ordinary.
It's truly beautiful. ^^

It should be me that should say thanks. This it's a perfect example on how inspiring Mlp Fim, (A cartoon for small girls.) really is.
And it's art like this that makes me happy and proud of being in this community.

So in the end, i am more than glad for her, and for what i see in her. ^^

I had wanted to work star into her name, but given it is rather common place I thought Hoshi may make her a touch more unique. Though you are one of the first to work out what her last name means!~
