***I DO NOT OWN THE LINEART. FIREWOLF-ANIME DOES!!***I felt like making this. It's one my my new wolf OCs, Reece (the golden one), and her crush Flint. :3 Welp, might as well give ya a story.
---------
"You ready?" Flint asked Reece, preparing to dive into the river. "Yeah." Reece nodded and dipped a paw in the water. She quickly pulled it back, surprised by the cold. Flint laughed. "You get used to it." He said and with that, jumped in. He resurfaced a few moments later, and motioned for Reece to do the same. Reece hesitated a second. She thought. Without waiting one more second, she dived in. Soon she came to the surface, shocked by the cold. "I don't know how you River wolves bear this cold." She shivered and attempted to place her paws on the rocky floor. She watched with envy as Flint seemed to just naturally swim and stay in one place. Flint finally noticed her trying to stand, and swam over. "Try this." He said, demonstrating. Reece tried to copy him, and he grinned. "Almost there. Just.." His head disappeared under the water, and she felt her legs being moved. "There!" He came back to the surface, and smiled. Reece was surprised to see that it was actually helping. "Can we try swimming underwater now?" Reece asked, happy with her progress. "Sure. Follow me. There's a calm spot around here..." He vanished again. Reece sighed and stayed where she was. Flint came up after quite a few moments, grinning sheepishly. "Forgot to hold up my tail. Follow that, and I trust you remember how to swim?" Reece nodded and he disappeared. After a second or two, His tail poked up. It started moving forward, and Reece followed. Finally they came to a spot where the current wasn't pushing as hard. "Here. Now dive under." Flint appeared, instructed, then went under. Reece took a deep breath and pulled herself under. It was surprisingly deep there, and there were many feet before the bottom. Reece floated with Flint for a moment, then he slowly swam forward and started moving her paws. At one point their noses touched. Reece pulled away in embarrassment, looking around. Luckily, there were no wolves to see, only schools of fish. Flint grinned, and Reece looked away, but she was smiling herself.
