Description
The thrid and final painting of my series of Shakespearean Tragedy paintings. This is obviously King Lear holding the dead body of his youngest daughter Cordillia in his arms whilst dying of a broken heart. His tragic flaw was a toss up between his ego and his mistrust of his daughter, and a key was easier to draw to represent his mistrust so...a key I did.Acryllic on canvas.

What's with the random key? Does it signify something?
Or do you just like painting keys? Lol.

Lol, it represented his lack of trust...I couldn't think of a better symbol.

The shading on the clothing is well-done.
But man did I loathe that play.
It was hell in a classroom for two, long months.

Never actually read this play, just heard about the ending and thought it'd be good for my series.

Oh em gee.
Then never, ever waste your time reading it.
It's a very interesting concept that was very poorly delivered.
YES. I SAID IT.
I am not a fan of Shakespeare's writing.
