wow! I love this, you look so cute >wHow did you attach the sheathe to the clothes, and the shield too? Magic? <3
I'm gonna make a Toon Link cosplay soon, and I'm searching for references. Sincerily you're one of the best WW's Link I've seen! Great job!

Ohh, thank you so much!! Such kind words. <3 I'm happy you like my Link. Attaching the shield and sheath was pretty tricky. What I did probably isn't the best method ever (it was pretty ghetto actually, lol), but it worked in a pinch and was a cheap and quick way to do it. Hope I can explain this clearly...

Starting with the sheath, I cut four slits into the underside of it - two close to the top of it, (like || )and another pair near the bottom (again, ||). I tied string tightly into a knot around the slits I cut so that one piece of string would go over my shoulder, and the other would wrap around my side and tie into a knot together with the shoulder string. Does this make sense so far? lol I hope so.

With the shield, I uh...I just taped a piece of string down vertically on the top half of the underside of the shield, and another on the lower half. Use strong tape. I then took these two pieces of string and use them to tied the shield to the sheath. the top part of the shield is tied to the sheath UNDER the sheath itself, but above the knot of the top part of the sheath. That way the shield sort of hangs on the knot. The bottom part of the shield is tied to the sheath in a similar fashion, to keep it laying slanted and steady, in the same direction as the sheath.

Then, to conceal the string that ties around the chest (the sheath strings), I simply cut a small hole in my green tunic where the string sat on my body - one small hole in the shoulder area, then another on my lower back. The shield covers these holes so you never see them, and the string is hidden under the tunic in the front.

Hope this makes sense! If this is confusing, please feel free to ask questions. I can try to explain it better. Good luck with your cosplay!
