By ugly I mean in real life when you end up getting big cuts or anything like that. A couple months ago I tripped over a travel bag and cut open my right knee on a grate or something. It hurt. And it was bleeding.

my knees from falling down an escalator,

yeah well here's the thing about that
i went ALL the way up the down escalator completely unharmed
when my wonderful friend decides to wait until i make it to the top to tell me i dropped my wallet which proceeded to ride the moving staircase to the bottom
so, i turn around, take one step forward to go down the thing properly
aaand the next thing i know i'm at the bottom with scrapes on my arms and knees XD
