Description
The narrative skips a bit here, I'm missing a picture. Chaehrion and Quinn meet, and Quinn (that fool of a girl, for one deemed of above-average intellect, she could really be quite dumb) was tricked into doing a little dirty work.-----
So far, it had been a picturesque climb up the mountain. At times it had been a little breezy, a little crowded, or downright strange- but Quinn had reached the top, with all her limbs attached. One couldn't ask for much more in this situation.
The Others had done a bang up job in convincing Quinn on taking a little dive. This entire world is like a very vivid dream, they had said, so really, nothing could hurt you. In fact, breaking that little mental barrier known as 'common sense' could result in quite a few wonderful things. Like being able to shock yourself into believing you were capable of flying. Or better yet, invoking a few changes of her own.
Quinn would very much like to bring about a few changes. The first one being changing Seth into an obese penguin, and letting him sweat it out for a couple hours. The second change she would make was to save Seth's previous companion from a horribly hairy fate.
With those twin obsessions in mind, she threw herself off a cliff. As vertigo latched neatly on to her stomach, Quinn realized just how idiotic her idea had been.
If the dragon had not come after her, Quinn would probably have made a very red, very lasting, stain on the rocks.

Actually, I think I know which one you're talking about- we had a similar school assignment, paint a story in 4-5 panels demonstrating various basic techniques (eg. stippling). I saw hers a few months before, and decided to try india ink as well, though you could have picked any medium. xD

Fantastic detail! I love how much time you seem to put into your drawings, they always seem to tell a story, and you could look at them for an hour searching for different details. Great stuff!

I really liked the idea of storytelling- illustrating pictures to tell a tale without words is something I'm fascinated by. Thanks for coming by!

Indeed, I've tried to do that, but I just didn't have it. I often have a "story" behind most pictures, but I could just never do what you do, I love it though. I could see you doing a huge painting on the wall of a building filled with story and depth. That'd be cool. ^^

Lol, I remember watching to ink that sucker. I thought you'd go crazy and bring a shot gun to the art room and kill us all in your insanity... >.> Anyways, I think this was the pic where you said you couldn't draw feet that well... But I think they look stellar!!

Baw, don't worry, the men with white labcoats would have me suited up in a straightjacket and tucked away in a padded room long before I went stark crazy. xD
