.Personality :: Sociable and charming, Emily is an outgoing Pokemon who most find easy to get along with - as long as her fur remains unruffled, as she is also proud, headstrong, and unshakeably sure of herself. Capable of holding enormous grudges against those she's decided are enemies, she will fume for days if she feels belittled and isn't above acting a bit spoiled. At the same time she is enormously generous with friends and swift to jump to their defense or to whisk them off for fun after a trying day; while she can be bossy and perhaps overwhelming, she means well and truly believes she knows what's best for those she cares about. Getting her to slow down and listen can be a trial - but once you have her attention she's ready and willing to try, and she makes a loyal and dedicated addition to a clique... she's just always completely sure she's the queen.

.Backstory :: The doted-upon only child of the Weapon/Meister duo Lizzy and Serena Sleet, Emily knew she was bound for the Academy ever since she was old enough to understand the concept. Growing up on her parents' tales of their adventures in the DWMA and showing an early inclination toward the martial arts, Emily was placed in classes to acclimate her to fights and briefed on all the best the Academy had to offer with the understanding that she would be moving there in a few years.

And then, during an intense spar, Emily achieved a partial transformation into her Weapon form.

The revelation that she had inherited Weapon traits infuriated her; Emily had always envisioned being the one doing the fighting - not controlled by and playing second banana to someone else! - and having a Meister sounded a little too close to having a master for her tastes. (She loves and respects Lizzy, of course, and was mortified when she realized this attitude might hurt her feelings - but really, does what works for her parents have to work for her?) Despite Lizzy and Serena's attempts to tell her that Weapon and Meister play an equal role, as equals, Emily stubbornly refused to train her Weapon side, hoping she could slip in as a Meister and put this whole 'someone else's tool' nonsense behind her.

That's not how things work, of course; as a general rule, Weapons can't be Meisters, and Emily never quite overcame the habit of partially transforming during especially intense bouts. She was outed as a Weapon almost immediately... and her stubbornness on the matter has now turned to finding a way for Weapons to wield each other. After all... even if she has to be the Weapon sometimes, maybe she can find someone to trade off with?

For now, she'll just have to let any potential Meisters know just who is in charge here.

Having selected the Shedinja Mystiqe as her partner, Emily is beginning to settle into life as a Weapon... though she retains a bad habit of trying to physically fight herself and tends toward the overprotective where her Meister is concerned.
