FOR MORE DETAILS AND TO READ THE WORDS, FULL VIEW IT!AGHHHGOD. My first decent reference sheet in... what... four years? I'm actually very happy with how this turned out.
This is my boyfriend, Geoff's [~HappyHuginn ] reference sheet; yes, he be a blue kitty cat...
He's MY handsome blue kitty cat~
I have to admit, I really do love how this turned out; I have improved my lynx anatomy since the first time I drew him. -> [link] Back then, I was just scribbling it so Geoff can tell me what to color, figure out markings, and such; I didn't realize that I was actually WAAAAY off with the anatomy. xD; Lynx have thicker, longer bodies with, surprisingly enough, small head. This should be pretty accurate and.... he has one sexy face. I mean, just... JUST LOOK AT THAT FACE. *smothers it with love*
A little thing to keep in mind, please, pleeeeaseeee pay attention to his special markings; we don't care how you do his spots, but the stripes on his face, 5 large spots on the back of his head, 2 brushy stripes on his tail, and the six brushy stripes on his neck are important to keep. Careful not to miss them! And take note of his two toned eyes as well; they're supposed to be hazel. xD;
And if you were wondering... YES. He has a mustache and a goatee~ *giggles, playfully nuzzles in them*
Uhmmm... I'm... I'm not sure what else to say in here... Except if you draw him, we would LOVE to see it~! [espeically if you draw him with Ani *smiiiile* 8D] and oh, if you guys have any questions at all. Don't be shy to ask! I'd be more then happy to help. :3 And uhhhh...

I KNOW RITE? I guess the goggles itself is a symbol of badassery, I mean, seriously.
Hehehe, thank you. Although it wasn't entirely my idea, his fursona's design, right down to every stripes and spots are all his ideas. I just drew it and came up with the silver paw paws. 8) Though I'll be sure to pass the compliment along!

Ah once again, I can see the effort you put into this ref sheet just as much as your own. Especially with the anatomical study of a bobcat. It's very interesting how you noticed the structure. Personally, it's difficult for me to really tell you how the structure of any animal looks (well at least. Or at least I think so xD).
Once again, I love the simple yet distinguishable design Geoff has as a bobcat. While it looks very "natural" (despite the blue and a few other things... .. you know what I mean, it looks right!) you could still pull it out of a pack and say oh look! It's Geoff. Which is very important. (:

I'm thinking of doing all my ref sheets like this; at least showing all their markings and all views, I want to make sure that people don't miss out on something important... especially when it's easy to skip over! You were very close on what kind of a creature Geoff is though, he's not a Bobcat, he's an Eurasian Lynx, but it's close enough. :3 Hehehe, well, while it may be difficult to point out the anatomy, this is exactly why I look at tons of pictures of the said animal online! And I do mean a loooot. xD
I have to admit, I did liked how Geoff seems natural despite his unrealistic colors; I was even more impressed with the fact that Geoff came up with these colors on his own and didn't even ask me what he should do. He just took the pencil and away he goes! It was nice. xD

Yeah, that's definitely a good idea. Gives a clearer view of the character *nods* Very important. (: And yeah, it does give people a better understanding... ... dangit! DX I knew he was a lynx.. really.. it's just... those two get mixed up easily xD Arrgh. I feel silly ;; Haha I'm sure you do. You look at all sorts of poses as well to see how they work I'm sure. (: but it's obvious you tried.
Yeah... very natural yet recognizable and unreal. It's great. Oh wow. He did this?! Color wise I mean. Dang, that's very impressive. And nice I'm sure. xD

Ha ha, yes! I was very surprised as I did my anatomy research! Well, I could've done the front view and back view, but I didn't really have room or the time to do it. I do plan on doing a side ref sheet, to tell more information about our fursonas. Like, I just remembered that I forgot to mention that Ani's scars bleed whenever I'm depressed or something of that drastic so... Eventually, I will do a backup ref to show more to Geoff and Ani. But for now, this is just so to explain the markings, the color wheel, and little things that people kept forgetting to draw on Ani. Just a basic ref sheet just so they can draw her. :3
