Asexuality is where someone has no sexual interest at all.
Alternatively it can be when lets say a plant self-produces.
Celibacy is when someone chooses not to take part in sex whether it be due to religious reasons, disease or bad past experiences.
I could be wrong, but I've never heard of anyone turning themselves asexual. That's like saying you can turn yourself gay.
